We once had a dream: to create a Family project that would unite us to Nature, allowing us to navigate through our passion for wines.
We found, at the base of the Ossa Mountains and at a short distance from the magnificent town of Estremoz, the “perfect” place, where the natural and semi-wild landscape still exists.
We recovered the Property, the gardens and plantations, and in the middle of a Mediterranean forest of cork trees and holmoaks we planted our vines of Portuguese grape varieties. At the centre of the property, next to the house, we built our cellar using stones from the rocky soils where the vines now grow.
After all these years, we believe it’s worth it to have a dream, and the result is the birth of the first Organic DOC Alentejo wine: Outeiros Altos.
