Tapada de Coelheiros

A great new wine experience to add to our fantastic list of wineries – Tapada de Coelheiros.   Every winery we go to offers something different and this was no exception.  Different varieties, sheep, walnuts, a nature protection area, olive oil, cork and the chance to have a picnic lunch with views over the estate.

For the first time we were testing and sampling different varieties in the field and the explanations from our hostess shone a light on a whole new aspect of vine management and the resulting wines that we had not encountered before.
