Just a short walk down from the Castle heading towards the Church, you will come across Artesanato Celeiro Comum. A wonderful craft shop that is run by Inocencia and Jose Lopes. As well as an array of crafts from around the region, you can find model making and painting that is their own work. It is worth a stop to drop in and see them in action – or to get a keepsake to remind you of your trip to the beautiful Evoramonte.
Inocencia is one of the few people certified to make the Bonecos of Estremoz (which has UNESCO world heritage status).
As well as this they have a selection of interesting crafted cork products, ceramics, special olive oils and so much more. They are super-friendly folks and will welcome you in.
